For more than five generations, the Plasencia family has been growing tobacco and making cigars. Many popular bands, including Rocky Patel, Gurkha, and Romeo y Julieta, have used tobacco or cigars grown by the Plasencias. With a handful of premium offerings, the Plasencias decided to create their own super premium line to showcase their exceptional skill in cigar making.
The third instalment in Alma's five-part series. Plasencia's Alma Del Fuego blend is their most profound expression of Ometepe to date. Ometepe, a volcanic island in Lake Nicaragua, produces very distinct and flavorful tobacco due to its ultra-rich soil. The majority of the tobacco in Alma del Fuego is from Ometepe, but Plasencia has aged these sun-grown tobaccos for seven years, which brings out the true flavour profile of the tobacco. The wrapper is from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua, as is one of the two binders and half of the filler. The tobacco was grown entirely in Nicaragua by the Plasencia family, and the cigars are expertly rolled and box-pressed. The body is medium to full.
Plasencia Alma Del Fuego cigars are unquestionably a winner, so pick up a box today and enjoy what took five generations to perfect.
