Perdomo has added two new blends to its well-known Reserve collection, which is best known for the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Champagne Connecticut. The cigars are wrapped in either Nicaraguan maduro or Nicaraguan sun-grown wrappers, and both blends feature Nicaraguan tobaccos that have been aged for six years. The cigars are box-pressed and have a medium to full body. The tobaccos are sourced from Nicaragua's three major growing regions (Estel, Condega, and Jalapa Valley). Aside from wrapper variety, the two blends differ in wrapper processing, with the Maduro undergoing 14 months of secondary fermentation in used bourbon barrels, while the Sun Grown's wrapper has been barrel-aged for 10 months.
