Bolvar, named after the famous liberator of South America from Spanish rule, is an iconic brand with a history dating back to the turn of the twentieth century in Cuba. Bolvar cigars were particularly known for being quite full-bodied compared to the conventional profile of traditional Cuban cigars, and while the brand now also produces cigars in the Dominican Republic and Honduras, it still prioritizes bold tobaccos and robust blends.
The Cofradia cigar, which means "brotherhood" in Spanish, is made in Honduras and features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers. It's a full-bodied cigar, ideal for experienced smokers and in keeping with Bolvar's historic reputation.
