In 2018, Casa Fernandez rebranded their name and logo, as well as launching some exciting new products. Aganorsa Leaf has always been Casa Fernandez's tobacco arm, but their cigars will now bear the name Aganorsa Leaf. The father-and-son team behind Aganorsa Leaf, Eduardo and Max Fernández, have debuted a new cigar that contains a small amount of medio tiempo, a rare tobacco leaf prized by growers for its rich flavour. The Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection is an all Nicaraguan blend made up of a rosado-claro Corojo '99 wrapper, a Corojo '99 binder, and a rich blend of Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 tobacco fillers.

The filler also includes a half leaf of rare medio tiempo, which are small tobacco leaves that sprout atop some (but not all) tobacco plants, making this tobacco extremely rare. The Fernandez Nicaraguan tobacco-growing conglomerate, on the other hand, is one of the largest, with most of their farms located in Nicaragua's best growing regions, allowing them to select their very best tobaccos for this limited production cigar. The Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection will be limited to 500 boxes of each size.
