For over five generations, the Plasencia family has been growing tobacco and making cigars. Many popular bands, including Rocky Patel, Gurkha, and Romeo y Julieta, have used Plasencia tobacco or cigars. The Plasencias decided to create their own super premium line to showcase their exceptional skill in cigar making with a few premium offerings.
The third instalment in the five-part Alma series. Plasencia Alma Del Fuego is Plasencia's most profound expression of Ometepe to date. Ometepe is a volcanic island in Lake Nicaragua where the ultra-rich soil produces very distinct and flavorful tobacco. The majority of the tobacco in Alma del Fuego is from Ometepe, but Plasencia has aged these sun-grown tobaccos for seven years—longer than he has previously treated Ometepe leaf, which brings out the tobacco's true flavor profile. The wrapper is from Nicaragua's Jalapa region, as is one of the two binders and half of the filler. The tobacco was grown entirely by the Plasencia family in Nicaragua, and the cigars are expertly rolled and box-pressed. The body is medium-full to full.
Plasencia Alma Del Fuego cigars are unquestionably a winner, so pick up a box today and enjoy what took five generations to perfect.
