Serie V Oliva Melanio cigars are a limited edition addition to the Oliva Serie V brand. This box-pressed cigar was designed to honor the Oliva family patriarch Melanio Oliva, who grew tobacco in Cuba's Pinar Del Rio region in the 1800s. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro was first released in one size, Torpedo, in 2013 and was a huge success. In the intervening years, the Olivas have grown in size. The Serie V Melanio Maduro line is made from a blend of Nicaraguan Habano grown in the country's Jalapa region and wrapped in a Mexican maduro grown in the lush San Andres Valley. To give the wine a rich flavor, expect notes of pepper, earth, espresso, spices, and an undeniable sweetness.
