Serie V Oliva Melanio cigars are a limited edition addition to the Oliva Serie V brand. This box-pressed cigar was designed to honor the Oliva family patriarch Melanio Oliva, who grew tobacco in Cuba's Pinar Del Rio region in the 1800s. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Gran Reserva Limitada is made entirely of tobaccos grown by the Olivas in Nicaragua. The cigars are then wrapped in a Sumatra-seed wrapper grown in Ecuador by the Olivas. The Oliva Melanio is the first time Oliva has used this coveted wrapper tobacco in one of their cigars, and the results are nothing short of spectacular. The binder and fillers are made from a well-aged Nicaraguan blend that emphasizes Jalapa Valley tobacco.
