My Father's El Centurión was introduced in 2007 as a limited-edition line of only 2,550 boxes by legendary blender José "Pepn" Garca. To everyone's delight, the Garcias reintroduced El Centurión as a regular-production cigar in 2012. The original Nicaraguan puro in the H-2K-CT, on the other hand, trades its Criollo '98 wrapper for a Havana 2000 seed hybrid grown in the Connecticut River Valley. This extension retains three distinct long-filler and binder seed varietals: Criollo, Corojo Habano, and Sancti Spiritus. The H-2K-CT is also box-pressed, unlike the original, and is a nuanced, medium-bodied smoke that will please fans of the original.
