Nicaragua has been added to the Montecristo core line. The Montecristo Nicaragua Series was introduced by Altadis USA at the IPCPR t2018 trade show in Las Vegas. It is the fifth addition to the non-Cuban Montecristo core line, which includes the Montecristo Classic, White, Original, and Platinum Series.
Altadis, as with previous collaborations, enlisted the help of cigarmaker A.J. Fernandez to create the Montecristo Nicaragua. The new line is made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco and comes in four heavy ring-gauge sizes packaged in 20-count boxes. This new Monte, handcrafted in Nicaragua at the A.J. Fernandez factory, will be a staple in your humidor.
