The H. Upmann Reserve Maduro Corona - 5½" x 44 - comes from the brand that bears the name of its founder, Herman Upmann, who was originally a German banker that launched this particular brand in 1844. Manufactured in the Dominican Republic, this medium-bodied corona has an Ecuadorian Cubano Wrapper, a Nicaraguan Binder, and all-Dominican long-filler mix. Those unique components, however, result in a superb full-bodied smoke with many, many shades of flavor making it well deserved "93" in Cigar Aficionado.
