For 2014, Cohiba has gone Nicaraguan, with the goal of blending a new line of the legendary brand with a Nicaraguan focus. The new Cohiba Nicaragua line is hand-rolled in Nicaragua with an all-Nicaragua filler blend and a unique Honduran Jamastran Colorado Oscuro wrapper. Until this point, the Cohiba brand was primarily a blend of Dominican Republic and Honduran tobaccos. General Cigar Co. wanted something different, a fuller-bodied, complex, and powerful smoke that delivered the brand's sophisticated blend style as well as the traditional flavor balance it is known for. The end result is truly unique; the cigar is full of rich flavors and natural sweetness, with notes of leather, dark cocoa, wood, hay, and espresso bean. The Cohiba.
