The second instalment of a project that pushes you into uncharted territory. This robust Habano Rosado wrapper is bound with a Nicaraguan Habano leaf and filled with Nicaraguan viso from the fertile Masatepe region in western Nicaragua. Farmers in Masatepe cultivate and coax their tobaccos through an ageing process known as Chinagre. To enhance and mature the leaves, the tobaccos are buried in volcanic soils, adding depth and complexity to the final blend. A truly one-of-a-kind method of fermenting and ageing tobacco that is rarely used.
