EPERNAY LE TAUREAU B25

The Illusione Epernay Le Taureau is a cigar from the Epernay Serie 2009 that is 5½'' x 56 Gordo in size. It is made by Dion Giolito at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Honduras. The blend is a Nicaraguan Café Rosado wrapper with Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo long fillers and binders from 1999 and 1998 respectively. The result is a medium-bodied smoke, creamy and floral with a touch of sweetness and complexity. Noticeably, it is devoid of ligero tobacco, concentrating instead on a balance and elegance rather than strength. The Epernay line received accolades, including a 94-point rating and the distinction of being one of the Top 25 Cigars of the Year by Cigar Aficionado.
