Eduardo Fernández and his son Max established Aganorsa Leaf in Nicaragua in 1998. Eduardo traveled to Cuba and assembled a team of former Cubatabaco agronomists with the intention of duplicating the profile of Cuban cigars by developing the unique leaf currently known as Aganorsa tobacco.
