In 1912, Arturo Fuente, a Cuban immigrant to Florida, established Arturo Fuente Cigars, one of the most illustrious cigar companies still in operation today. From a small family business to one of the most premium cigar manufacturers in the world, the Fuentes family has carried the brand down through the generations. Because of their stringent quality control and ageing standards, which guarantee consistency in every blend, their cigars are frequently recognized as some of the best available.
Part of Arturo Fuente's flagship Gran Reserva line, the Flor Fina 8-5-8 was made in his memory. Arturo Fuente passed away at the age of 85. There are various wrappers for the blend, such as Natural, Sun Grown, Maduro, and Claro. The Claro edition features a unique Candela wrapper created from tobacco cultivated in the Connecticut Shade, along with filler and binder tobaccos from the Dominican Republic.
